How can I get involved with Habitat for Humanity?

There are many ways to get involved with Habitat for Humanity of Greater Ingham County, whether it be through volunteering, making a donation, or even serving on a board or committee.

Volunteer

Volunteerism is central to our mission to eliminate substandard housing, as volunteers provide the labor with which we build houses for Ingham County families in need. Our volunteers do more than just work on houses though - Our ReStores are staffed with volunteers, volunteers help run our fundraisers, and volunteers help in our office. Volunteers even make lunches for other volunteers!

Please help! Contact us at (517) 655-1872.

Donate

Donations to Habitat for Humanity of Greater Ingham County can take many forms. Donations to our ReStores end up as funds for the financing of Habitat homes; Cash donations are an even more efficient way to support our mission of eliminating substandard housing in Ingham County. Gifts in kind are another great way to contribute - When a licensed electrician donates his or her time, that’s money saved which can be directed towards the next partner family’s home. You could even leave a legacy of community partnership by planning a gift to Habitat for Humanity of Greater Ingham County in your will.
