2024 Impact by the Numbers

On behalf of the Durham Habitat team, thank you to everyone who has supported our work through donations, volunteering, or advocacy. We are truly grateful for your commitment to our mission and the Durham neighbors we serve.

Thanks to your unwavering support, 2024 was a year of incredible progress, and together, we achieved the following in 2024:

51 home repairs were completed, providing essential maintenance services to give low-income neighbors a safe and healthy place to call home.

We created 12 new affordable homeownership opportunities. With the dedication of 2,500 volunteers who provided 16,500 hours of service, we completed a seven-home micro-community on N Plum Street and are making great strides on the 10-home Mount Vernon neighborhood.

Our Homeowner Services team welcomed more families into the homeownership program, and expanded our reach through impactful initiatives like Community Day and estate planning services.

Thanks to you, our amazing community, we’re poised to continue transforming the lives of Durham neighbors in 2025 and beyond. Together, we’re making a lasting difference!
